# What Happens When a License Expires?

When a device’s license reaches its expiration date:

1. **The app will automatically downgrade to Free mode.**\
Only basic features (such as limited GPS tracking or contact info) may continue to work, depending on your configuration.
2. **Advanced features will stop working.**\
For example, call logs, SMS history, browser history, and ambient recording may be disabled.
3. **A warning will appear in the Admin dashboard.**\
The device will be marked as **"Expired"** or **"Inactive"** in the license panel.
4. **No data will be lost.**\
Any previously collected data remains stored (unless auto-clean rules are enabled). However, new data will not be collected until the license is renewed.
5. **You can renew or apply for a new license at any time.**\
Once renewed, all features linked to that package will resume automatically without reinstalling the app.
